Parent Organization: Department of Campus Involvement

Nepalese Student Association (NSA) welcomes you all here in Saint Cloud State University.

Nepalese Student Association, (NSA) Estd. 1995 has been an active student organization at Saint Cloud State University. This organization was primarily formed to unify the voice and bring together a growing number of Nepalese students in the University. There are approximately 250 Nepalese students studying at the University today. NSA is an established organization with full recognition status in good standing with the Department of Campus Involvement and Student Government. Serving as a resource to student seeking cultural sharing opportunities and community involvement is a reflection of our mission.
The main purpose of NSA is to provide a platform for the Nepalese students at SCSU to communicate with each other and with the University. NSA aims to promote and educate a better understanding of Nepalese culture and heritage to all students and to the St Cloud Community. We also provide information and assistance to newly arriving Nepalese students. NSA actively participates in programs like Passport to the World, Spring Festival and also hosts its own cultural programs including Deusi Bhailo and Nepal Night, a well-reputed and popular event in the SCSU community. It also hosts fund-raisers and other community service learning programs.
NSA is open to all current SCSU students, faculty members and staff. We practice non-discrimination in recruiting members and programming, as defined by the University policy and local, state and national statues
